Letter from the Personnel Director

Thank you for your interest in a position with the Associated Students of the University of Washington!

Recruiters almost unanimously mention outside work experience as a quality that makes college graduates desirable in the current job market. At the ASUW, we pride ourselves on providing these opportunities to students.

The ASUW truly provides an unparalleled experience for students to serve others. Through an overarching theme of public service, our association provides students with real world experiences ranging from lobbying in Olympia to organizing large scale concerts. As employees of the ASUW, students learn the necessary skills to function in a collaborative office environment, while still remaining accountable to the students that we serve.

As you consider the role of our association and your own interest in serving students at the University of Washington, we would highly encourage you to research job opportunities and volunteer opportunities within the ASUW. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
